Tråkigt men viktigt! Boring but somehow important information about shoes!
Ett annat sätt att känna igen läder är genom att söka efter en sådan bild på skor. Bilden finns ofta som ett klistermärke endera i eller under skorna. Den första symbolen betyder att över delen av skon är gjord av läder. Den andra betyder att även sulan är gjord av läder den tredje betyder att skons inre del är gjord av annat material. Salmiakformad symbolen är alltså fejk läder eller gummi eller annat material men INTE läder.
Another way of recognizing leather shoes is to look for symbols as shown above. They are often in form of stickers on the shoes. The first one means that the upper part of the shoe is made of leather, the second symbol means that the sole of the shoe is made of leather and the third one means that the lining of the shoe is made of other or synthetic material. Diamond symbol indicates that the material could be anything else BUT leather.
Den svåraste kombinationen när det gäller skor att hitta sådana som är BÅDE snygga och praktiska. Vem vill traska omkring i goretex skor jämt bara för att vi är välsingnade med ett klimat som detta?Nej! Det finns faktiskt vissa knep som kan hjälpa en att hitta den gyllene medelvägen.
För det första: Klack! Inte sky hög, men en liten klack är nödvändig både av ergonomiska och slask-orsaker. Om du har en liten klack blir fötterna inte lika trötta eftersom de stöds och dessutom hålls de toarrare. För det andra, inte plast eller mocka (tyvärr!), men läder. Läder håller längre, det är ett material som både andas, isolerar och töjer, d.v.s. formar sig efter foten. Du kan kolla om ett par skor är läder genom att dofta på dem, de ska helt enkelt ha en doft som inte är plast, eller så kollar du in i skon, där dragkedjan sitter eller någon annan söm där du kan se materialets baksida. Lädrets baksida är mocka, d.v.s. inte en plastig jämn yta.
Och sist, men ändå mycket viktigt: Om du investerar i ett par bekväma, hållbara läderskor lönar det sig att köpa ett par såpass stilrena att du inte tröttnar på dem i första taget, eftersom de nog kan kosta en slant, därför rekommenderar jag en mörk färg. Detta också för att slitage inte syns så snabbt och underhållet är lättare än med andra färger!
The hardest combination with shoes is finding both good looking AND practical ones. Who wants to walk around in Goretex-shoes all the time just because we are blessed with such a climate? No one! Luckily there are some good points to think about in order to find the best combination of vanity and comfort.
First: Heels! Not sky high ones, but at least some kind of heel is important both ergonomically and with the slush in consideration. The heels keep your feet from getting too tired and wet. Secondly: not plastic, not suede (a pity!) but leather. Leather lasts longer, and it's a material that both breathes, isolates and gets reshaped according to your own foot. You can check wether it's leather by either smelling the material, it should have a slight fragrance that isn't plastic, or check around the zipper so that you can see the back of the material. The other side of leather is actually suede, so there shouldn't be a smooth, plastic surface.
And last but not least important: If you invest in a pair of good looking, comfortable shoes, it's a good idea to buy them in a timeless model and darker color. They might not be too cheep and therefor a pair of black or brown shoes don't get worn out as easily and they are easier to take care of than other colors!
