Nu blir det avbrott i modehistoria för att en av oss har varit i Japan och tagit en hel del bilder på olika människor och stilar. Folk ställde inte alltid frivilligt upp för att fotas, vilket är helt förståeligt, inte skulle jag heller vilja vara en turistattraktion. Så några av ansiktena på bilder jag tagit på offentliga platser är förvrängda, jag skulle inte vilja hamna på en blogg utan mitt samtycke.

Tänkte berätta lite om de intryck jag fick av mode i Japan. Människor där tycktes matcha sina kläder på ett sådant sätt som man kanske inte skulle göra här. Kvinnor var jätte vackra och hade enligt mig de perfekta benen. Och detta visste de om, för det var helt okej att gå omkring i en kjol som knappt täckte rumpan. Det var bra att även om kvinnor hade korta kjolar uppfattades de inte som prostituerade. Bara för att en kvinna går i kort kjol betyder det inte att hon inte har någon självrespekt!!!

Kvinnor använde även mycket spets och glitter i till exempel strumpor, väskor, telefoner och PSP:n. De var med andra ord väldigt lekfulla gällande klädseln. Med kort kjol och knästrumpor kan man känna sig säker på att man klär sig rätt som kvinna i Japan. Min kompis berättade också att man i Japan gillar gulliga saker och det syntes för att både män och kvinnor hade små söta gosedjur som prydde deras asessoarer. Det är också populärt och trendigt att se ut som en liten flicka med håret i två höga tofsar, kort kjol och höga strumpor.

Now there'll be an interruption in the history of fashion because one of us has been to Japan and taken lots of pictures of people and styles. People didn't allways cooperate when I wanted too take pictures of them and it's totally understandable because noone wants to feel like a tourist attraction. I'll be changing the faces of some people on my pictures from public places because I wouldn't eather like to be on blog without my permission.

I would like start with the first imperessions that japanese fashion left me. Japanese people matched their clothes in a way that people here wouldn't do. Japanese women were very beautiful and they had the perfect legs. They seem to be aware of it because it was totally acceptable to walk around in short skirts that barely covered their backside. The good thing was they weren't treated as prostitutes or easy. Just because a woman is wearing a short skirt doesn't mean that she lacks self-repect!


Japanese women used alot of lace and "bling bling" in their clothing especially socks, bags, mobiles and PSPs. In other words, they were very playful when it comes to clothes. If you want to dress a like casual japanese girl dont forget you high socks and miniskirt. My friend told me that japanese people like cute stuff and you could see it because both men and women decorated their acessories with small toys. It is also popular and trendy to look like a little girl with two high tufts, short skirts and high socks.
