Helheter, detaljer, kombinationer-hemligheten bakom secondhand! The look, details, combinations-the secret of secondhand!

Detta gjorde jag: Secondhand frälst som jag är tänkte jag att det skulle vara intressant att rota igenom sina egna lager och se vad man kan åstadkomma för olika helheter och stilar m.h.a. det man samlat på sig genom åren! Största delen är köpta i secondhand butiker i Åbo, Helsingfors, Rom och Firenze och en del har jag fått av gamla momödrar och bekanta. Vissa plagg är också nyköpta, grundtanken var att använda ett secondhand plagg som nyckelelementet. På bilderna är skorna, ylletröjan, rocken, halsdukarna och väskorna secondhand. Om man har några såna större och mer speciella plagg kan man bygga upp en helhet utgående ifrån dem. Jag märkte att min garderob nog represenrerar min stil sådan som den faktiskt är, fast jag försökte variera så mycket som möjligt. Lite bohemisk, men städad, svart och mycket klara, färger blandat med mer jordnära och naturliga toner. Att man har en stil betyder inte att man alltid måste se ut på samma sätt!
Mitt tips om du gillar stilen är att alltid utgå från ett visst plagg och bygga upp helheten utgående från detta. Det kan också vara ett par skor eller en väska, men koncentrear dig på några speciella detaljer och balansera upp outfitten enligt dessa! Framför allt, ha kul och var inte rädd för att kombinera oväntade färger och mönster, att något matchar betyder snarare att de hör till samma färgskala än att de skulle vara exakt samma färg!


SPRING UP NORTH!





This happened: Since I'm a secondhand freak I thought it would be interesting to go through my own stockage of clothes and see which kind of styles and looks I could come up with, with the stuff I've collected through the years. Most of the clothes are from secondhand shops in Turku, Helsinki, Rome and Firenze and some have been given to me by old ladies and friends. Some of the pieces are new, the most important thing was to use secondhand clothes as the key elements. On these pictures the shoes, the jacket, the cardigan, the scarfs and the bags are secondhand. If you've got some more special and important pieces of clothing you should build up the entire look according to these. I noticed that the styles I came up with were very close to my actual style, to the way i look every day. Slightly bohemian, but clean, a lot of black in combination with strong, clear colors in combination with more down to earth tones. To have a style doesn't mean you always look the same!
My tip, if you like the style, is to always concentrate on one piece of clothing and create the look according to it. It can also be a pair of shoes or a bag, but bring out the details and balance the outfit with these in consideration.
The most important thing is to have fun and not be afraid of combining unexpected colors and patterns, to match means to stay in the same colorrange rather than using the exact same color!
